Senior UX Designer
Senior UX Designer for an AI-driven solution. Create clear, trustworthy interfaces; collaborate with engineers and product teams to turn data into decisive, human-centered design.
We’re building applied AI systems for high‑stakes, real‑world decisions. Our platform ingests and reasons over large, messy data to surface evidence with hard constraints around fairness, auditability, and low bias.
The single gnarliest, most impact‑heavy place this problem shows up is in insurance claims, so that’s where we’re deployed today, running in production at some of the largest carriers in North America.
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll bring clarity to complexity, shaping experiences that are both intuitive and impactful. Your work will influence how insurance professionals interact with knowledge every day, enabling them to spend less time buried in data and more time applying human judgment.
At Owl, we believe great design is how intelligence becomes usable. If you want to apply your craft to meaningful problems, work on products that shape an entire industry, and design for impact at scale, we’d love to hear from you!
What you will do:
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams from concept to launch.
Define design strategy for Owl’s platforms, ensuring consistency and intuitive experiences.
Create clear interfaces that make complex tasks simple.
Conduct user research to inform product strategy and address real-world needs.
Design explainable, accountable, and trustworthy experiences.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Bring over 4 years of experience delivering large-scale AI or SaaS products.
Maintain a portfolio that highlights strong expertise in UX, UI, and interaction design, with a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship.
Thrive on solving complex interaction design challenges.
Demonstrate strong communication and storytelling abilities that drive impact.
Enjoy navigating ambiguity and transforming it into a clear, actionable vision.
Feel energized by engaging with the engineering/product team and shape future of AI-first product design and behavior for enterprise.
